Araz Havan studies Journalism and French at UMass Amherst. She dreams of writing the next great American novel, regardless if half of Brooklyn is trying to do the same. Loves photojournalism, but is an incredibly shy photographer. Enjoys The New Yorker, eating everything, the poetry of E.E. Cummings (yes he capitalized his initials, contrary to whatever you think), and talking in the third person. Other opinions: E-readers suck, Roger Waters is the perfect human, and PC's should never have removed Pinball from their games menu.

Diana Johnson is a Journalism student at UMass Amherst. She loves  cooking, writing, photography and working in the garden, and in her free time she also enjoys biking, hiking, and generally being outside. She will graduate from UMass next fall and is currently trying to figure out what to do at that point. She really wants to travel and is thinking to possibly go farm hopping after college as a means to see the country. After that she may want to get into urban farm development or get involved in farm to school programs. You can check out her food blog here.
